EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2001
Once again, I was fortunate enough to be able to make the trek out to Oshkosh, Wisconsin to attend the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2001 extravaganza! The event started on Tuesday, July 24th and lasted through Monday, July 30th. An old shipmate of mine who I served with in the Navy moved to Appleton, Wisconsin and got a job working for Gulfstream Aircraft. I looked him up while I was in town and, out of the kindness of his heart, he gave me and my friends free tickets to get in.
Just like at AirVenture 1998, I took a bunch of pictures using a 35mm camera and had posted them online way back when, and, just like those pictures from 1998, the ones tied to this site were also lost when I transferred my site to a new host. Just like the 1998 photos, one of these days I'll dig them out of my photo collection, scan them, and put some of them online for viewing.
