Here's Jacob standing in front of the T-33 at the Jeffco Airport open house in August of 2001.

Roy is giving me the preflight briefing, which consisted of viewing an instructional video tape and reviewing a few in-flight procedures.

Just before loading up, I decided to get a picture taken.

Roy is helping me crawl into the cockpit of the T-33.

That's me strapped into the cockpit with my O2 mask, helmet, 3 point harness, and parachute on. It was a very snug fit!

This is the view from the copilot's seat. Roy and I have just completed the preflight checklist.

Roy has just lit the fires and completed the pretaxi checklist. We are getting ready to call for clearance to taxi to runway 11L/29R at Jeffco. Although the ATIS was reporting a temperature of 35 degrees F, we kept the canopy open during the taxi. Brrrr!

This was the view level at 8,500' MSL over Longmont, Colorado looking east and doing about 200 knots indicated. We chose this area to do some rolls and other manuevers.

This was taken right after we landed. We are preparing to turn off of the active runway to taxi back to the hangar.

We parked the T-33 in front of Roy's hangar. What a ride!
